Video Editor & Asset Management Intern
— SEG

Utah is base camp. I've been gathering
supplies abroad. 🏔️

Sport content producer. Utah Tech graduate. Applied for both the Video Editor and Video Asset Management internships. Built for either. Here is why.

My background was built for this kind of work.

At Utah Tech University in St. George I designed my own degree combining digital film, marketing, and strategic content creation. I have been producing sport content professionally ever since across four World Lacrosse Championships, 25+ national tournament weekends, a full WNBL season, and brand campaigns for clients across Australia and the US. Every role has demanded fast turnarounds, technical precision, and the ability to contribute inside a team while also operating independently.

One of the things I take most seriously is what happens after the camera stops rolling. I built a custom scripted Python pipeline to tag, archive, and retrieve 50TB+ of footage with consistent naming conventions. At championship events producing 70 to 115 deliverables, that system is what keeps the next project from starting at zero. I understand frame rates, codecs, and camera technical specs because I have worked with them daily, not just studied them.

Championship Production

Solo run-and-gun across four international World Championships. Fast turnarounds, live event coverage, and content built to represent a sport on the edge of its Olympic return.

Edit & Deliver

Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects for editing, grading, and motion. Audio mixed in Essential Sound. Proxy workflows and assembly edits as standard.

Archived & Tagged

Custom scripted DAM pipeline managing 50TB+ of footage with consistent metadata and naming. Built so the whole team can find what they need, long after the event closes.

CEGORR – Cadel Evan's BTS

Behind-the-scenes edit showcasing reel production from concept to launch. [We caught a ride home with Cadel]

Portrait-format, alternate behind-the-scenes view. Focused on workflow, collaboration, and creative decision-making.

2025 Men's U20 World Championship Jeju, South Korea

Event highlight reel from Korea. Fast-paced editing, crowd shots, and culture woven seamlessly. The athletes competing in Jeju this summer are the same ones who will represent their countries at LA 2028. I wanted the recap to reflect that. Not just a highlight reel but a document of a generation stepping into something historic.

WNBL Geelong Venom — Full Season Content

A full WNBL season producing corporate partnership announcements, game day sponsor deliverables, athlete advocacy campaigns including a Beyond Blue mental health piece, and community-facing Pride Round content. Every piece in service of building the profile of women's professional sport in Australia.

Lacrosse Australia: Major League Sixes Adelaide — Event Recap

The Major League Sixes came to Adelaide in November 2025. More than a tournament, it was a statement about where lacrosse in Australia is heading. Alongside the elite competition, the event brought QuickStix programs and youth participation initiatives to the forefront, giving young Australians their first taste of the game in a live event environment. This recap captures the full picture. The competition, the community, and the grassroots energy that will drive the sport's growth between now and LA 2028.

Western Heights College Open Night Campaign

A three month recruitment campaign covering Australian football, soccer, basketball, and netball. Built for open night and back to school promotion with a real audience conversion goal. Finding the story, not just the footage.

Scrappy. Organised. All-in.

Scrappy. Organised. All-in.

Those are three of SEG's five values and they describe how I work. I move fast without cutting corners, I keep assets clean and retrievable so no one on the team is hunting through unnamed folders, and I show up committed to whatever the project needs. I have been on both sides of the edit suite for over a decade, capturing the footage and building the system that organizes it. That combination is what makes me useful from day one, whether the team needs an editor or an archivist.

Utah is where I want to be.

I studied at Utah Tech, I know SLC, and I want to build a long-term career here. I am currently on a working holiday in Adelaide and returning to SLC for this role. The Jazz and the Mammoth represent exactly the kind of environment I want to grow inside.

A team, a professional sport organisation, and a creative department producing content that fans actually feel. I am available from August 2026, flexible on hours, and ready to work the full sport calendar.
